Only modern .xlsx workbooks are accepted for Excel input in this release. Legacy .xls and macro-enabled .xlsm files are outside this profile. Workbook formulas are not recalculated; the stored cached value is used when present, and a missing cache is reported instead of being invented.
Blank cells and unsupported workbook features are handled conservatively. The tool blocks over-limit inputs and does not claim to preserve macros, charts, styles, external connections, or complete workbook behavior.
